Ways to Help

Greet visitors, serve as an ambassador or assist with tours of one of our historic sites. Training is provided and there are opportunities to shadow current museum volunteers. Shifts vary with location.

St. Louis County Parks sponsor various events throughout the year from the annual Easter Egg Hunt to the JB Blast fireworks display to October Ghost Stories. Help us support these fun family events. 

Help us with the sales operation of the Visitor Center Gift Shop, we sell books, apparel and other gift items. NOTE: The building is currently closed for renovations and re-opening June, 2025.  

Volunteer gardeners do beautiful work at the Laborer's House, Powder Magazine Museum and at the North Gate working alongside Master Gardeners and County Parks Horticulture Staff.
